The invoicing process is explained below. We believe this will make it easier for members to remit their donations.

This will allow for payments to be spread over the year and are outlined below:

  • At the end of January all members will be invoiced for Annual Membership (Annual Membership is for the calendar year January to December NOT the date of joining the Foundation). To be legally under the Foundation you are required by,Thai law, to have current membership. The Annual Membership donation needs to be paid in full before your paperwork will be processed.
  • Invoicing for visas will be sent out 120 days before expiry date and needs to be paid in full before  your paperwork will be processed.
  • Invoicing for Work Permit will be sent out 90 days before expiry date and needs to be paid in full before  your paperwork will be processed.

IMPORTANT: Both COC and Haven Foundation Policy is that members are required to pay the amount of invoices in full. If this is not the case then your visa and work permit paperwork will be put on hold until payment is received.

Communication with the Legal Finance Department is essential. Please communicate with the Finance Department finance@cocthailand.com at all times and if you are experiencing genuine financial hardship.

The Charter of Recommended Donations has been reviewed and revised by the Foundation Boards. Please click on the links above for your relevant Foundation.

If husband and wife are working in the same or different capacities in Thailand (<10 hours per week) separate work permits are required and separate invitation letters are required. If the spouse is just looking after family or doing basic home duties, maybe including a little bit of “work” or ministry (>10 hours per week), they can have “follower” status, which means their visa is completely dependent on the main visa holder.
